MOK Yat-san received a Bachelor of Art from the CUHK, and had also received a Master of Arts (Sculpture) from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, China. He used to be the President of Hong Kong Sculpture Society and now is a part-time lecturer in the Fine Arts Dept., The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

With 30 years dedicated to art creation, Mok has taken part in numerous exhibitions spanning across the globe, ranging from Art Basel in Hong Kong, to BRIC Exhibition London, UK, Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition, and Hong Kong, Art Macao: International Art Exhibition.

His works of art are in the prestigious collections of art foundations, corporations and art museums, such as Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Redtory Contemporary Museum of Art, China Central Television, Hong Kong Central Library, Shenzhen Pingshan District Cultural Center, Hong Kong Housing Department, Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong Legislative Council, Hong Kong MTR Corporation, Hong Kong Tamar Park, Lei Yue Mum Landscape Garden, Hong Kong, New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, K11 Art Foundation, The Wharf Art Collection, Bank of China, Chengdu International Finance Square, City Art Square, Hong Kong, Elements, Hong Kong, L’Avenue, Shanghai, Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong, Okura Hotel, Macau, Peninsula, Shanghai Waitian Hotel, Sentosa Equarius Hotel, Singapore, Shangri-la Hotel and The Opposite House, Sanlitun Beijing. Mok specializes in creating large-scale outdoor "Ink Art" landscape and polar bear sculptures to present inheritance and link ancient wisdom with contemporary interpretation.

 

In recent years, to further grasp inspiration, Mok has returned to the zero point where through experience and exploration, experiments and execution on Mother Nature physically and mentally, he strives to discover and dig into the feasibilities of energy, sustainability in nature and within ourselves, and how to sustain communities by linking the generations.

莫一新 畢業於香港中文大學藝術系,其後獲取廣州美術學院藝術學碩士,曾任香港雕塑學會會長,現兼任於香港中文大學藝術系。

 

近三十年創作生涯,莫氏曾參與無數展覽,包括香港巴爾塞藝術展、英國倫敦BRIC展、香港藝術雙年、藝文薈澳國際藝術大展等,莫氏曾獲多個獎項及委托創作,其作品並獲得藝術基金、重要機構及藝術館和博物館典藏及私人收藏,當中有: 香港文化博物館、香港藝術館、紅專廠當代藝術館、中央電視台、香港中央圖書館、深圳市平山區文化中心、香港房屋署、香港國際機場、香港立法會、香港鐵路有限公司、添馬艦公園、鯉魚門園林公園、香港中文大學新亞書院、K11藝術基金、九龍倉藝術典藏、香港中國銀行、成都國際金融中心、香港城市藝坊、香港圓方、上海尚嘉中心、香港四季酒店、澳門大倉酒店、上海外灘半島酒店、新加坡聖陶沙Equarius酒店、香格里拉酒店及北京瑜舍等。

 

莫氏主修雕塑及公共藝術,他擅於創造大型户外「水墨」山水及北極熊雕塑,以提呈傳承、連結古智慧與當代詮釋。

 

為求進一步開展創作靈感,2017年始透過親身體驗與實踐;從心探索與科學實驗,與保育朋友試圖發掘關於能量、永績生態發展以及共同創造的可能性。

文鳳儀 畢業於香港中文大學藝術系。1995年與莫一新成立「藝術家工作室」,從事創作及藝術教育工作。1999年獲香港中文大學研究院藝術學系碩士,其後任職該校兼任講師至2001年。2008年獲香港中文大學文化及宗教研究學系碩士(道教研究)。

 

曾參與重要展覽,有「天下 • 往來:當代水墨文獻展」(2016年,廣州紅專廠當代藝術館)、「新朦朧主義」(2014及2015年,北京東京畫廊)、「香港巴塞爾藝術展」(2013-2015年,香港會議展覽中心)、「《亞洲時尚》藝展」(2012年,法國巴黎彤閣)、「中國『抽象』藝術三十年展」(2008年,西班牙巴塞羅那、帕爾馬及馬德里la Caixa Forum美術館)及「牆:中國當代的歷史與邊界」(2005年,紐約布法羅大學美術館及北京中華世紀壇藝術館);個展包括「飄渺與忘形之間:文鳳儀、莫一新雙個展」(2015年,廣州紅專廠)、「恍惚之間:文鳳儀、莫一新雙個展」(2014年,香港藝術中心)及「衣戀記事——文鳳儀個展」(2014年,路易威登台北藝文空間)。

 

歷年獲取的獎項有香港各界婦女聯合協進會主辦「香港六藝卓越女性」獎(2013年)、香港藝術館主辦「香港藝術雙年展獎項」(2003年)、中國北京「世紀.女性」藝展「藝術批評家獎」(1998年)及美國「自由人基金亞洲藝術家獎學金」(1997年)等。作品為M+視覺文化博物館、英國劍橋大學、香港藝術館、香港文化博物館、中國江蘇省美術館、紅專廠當代藝術館、日本石川縣立美術館、香港機場管理局、藝術推廣辦事處、香港立法會、香港鐵路有限公司、香港添馬艦公園、K11藝術基金、法國路易威登、上海尚嘉中心及香港奕居等機構及私人收藏。

MAN Fung-yi is a graduate of the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 1995, she established Artists' House with MOK Yat-san, and devoted herself to art creation and art education after her graduation. In 1999, she obtained her Master of Fine Arts degree at The CUHK and then worked as a part-time lecturer in the same school till 2001. In 2008, she obtained her master of Art (Daoism) in Department of Cultural and Religious Studies at the CUHK.

 

She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including “BEING AND INKING 2016- Documenting Contemporary Ink Art” (Redtory Contemporary Museum of Art, Guangzhou, 2016), "Neo Mōrōism" (Tokyo Gallery, Beijing, 2014&2015), "Art Basel in Hong Kong" (Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong, 2013-2015), “L’Asie En Vogue (Vogue In Asia) Exhibition” (Pagoda Paris, France, 2012), "30 years Chinese 'Abstract' Art" (Art Museums of Barcelona, Palma and Madrid, Spain, 2008) and "The Wall: Reshaping Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition" (the University at Buffalo Art Galleries & the China Millennium Monument, U.S.A. and China, 2005). Solo Exhibitions including “In the Midst of Ethereality and Oblivion: 2 Solo Exhibitions by MAN Fung-yi & MOK Yat-san” (Redtory, Guangzhou, 2015), “Falling Into A Trance: Solo Exhibitions by MAN Fung-Yi & MOK Yat-San” (Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong, 2014) and “A Wardrobe Memoir by MAN Fung-yi” (Espace LV Taipei, Taiwan, 2014).

 

She was awarded the Hong Kong Women of Excellence in the Six Arts Award (2013), the award of Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition (2003), the Critic Award of "Century.Women Art Exhibition" in Beijing, China (1998) and the Freeman Foundation Fellowship for Asian Artists in U.S.A. (1997).
